In our minds, a Whole Food Plant Based (WFPB) diet is the best way to support our bodies to be as healthy and vital as they can be. But sometimes the time to prep a WFPB meal can make it hard to fit into a busy schedule. So, we keep looking for Quick and Easy meals and sauces to make it easy for you.

This Hummus Dressing is just that. Using a commercial hummus that is oil free and only uses tahini, then simply adding enough lemon juice to thin it to the consistency you like, you've got a delicious dressing in minutes.

This is a great dressing for salads, cooked greens or veggies. It provides both the protein and carbs to make a complete meal from a large salad, serving of greens or combinations of cooked veggies.

Quick, Quick Hummus Dressing (Serves 2-4)

  • 1 container of commercial hummus without oil, only using Tahini
  • 1-2 lemons, juiced

Add hummus to a small mixing bowl. Add lemon juice, stir well until it is a dressing consistency. You may need to add another lemon if it needs thinning.

Delicious on steamed greens with veggies, salads or cooked veggies. So quick to make.
