Almond milk is really easy to make with a high speed blender. We like making our own because it's made fresh from whole almonds and doesn't have some of the additives found in store bought.
Also, we can vary the thickness to be just right for the dish we want it for by how much water we add.
- 1⁄2 cup raw almonds
- 2 cups purified water
Add almonds and water to a high-speed blender and blend on high until smooth, 1 to 2 minutes.
Add a few drops of liquid stevia or maple syrup if you want to sweeten it and blend again.
