    This cookbook is about recipes whose ingredients are VERY whole.
    The Whole Food Plant Based (WFPB) movement has been around for quite a while. But many who adhere to it us a number of processed ingredients, meaning they are no longer in their whole form. These are things like flour, nut butters and maple syrup.

    Nothing wrong with these ingredients, but as Connie and I continue on our jouney for optimum helath, we find that the less processed the ingredients are in what we make, the better we feel.

    And the most recent step we've taken to optimize our health is to stop adding any sugar, oil or salt to anything we make. So these recipes reflect that as well. Of course, sugar and oil are processed from whole foods so wouldn't be included in this cookbook, but there's something of a movement now that is SOS-free. You can read more about SOS-free here.
